  • No Learning & Development Framework – The organization lacked a structured program, leaving employees without the tools, training, or pathways to build skills and advance in their careers.
  • Need for Tailored Strategy – The organization needed a strategy tailored to its unique goals and long-term vision. Without a customized approach, leadership risked pursuing initiatives that looked good on paper but lacked alignment with the company’s direction, making it harder to focus resources, measure progress, and achieve sustainable growth.

SOLUTION

  • Day 1 Initiatives:
    • Kicked off Thriving Teams at the end of January with a baseline assessment and organizational goals.
    • Built a comprehensive training plan aligned to business objectives.
    • Created a growth plan that became a key decision-making tool, helping them walk away from a risky project
  • First Two Months:
    • Utilized the full $15,000 Express Grant into workshops and coaching.
    • Created an SOP framework and began drafting priority SOPs.
    • Launched the first in-house workshop.
  • First Six months
    • Built out onboarding process with clear plans.
    • Enhanced the review process to feel structured and supportive, giving people clarity on what’s expected and how they’re growing.
    • Introduced Canva templates and playbooks for bids, winning competitive projects. Won 6 bids and withdrew from one project that wasn’t the right fit.
  • Continued work:
    • Brought the team together for a second in-house workshop that built skills and deepened company-wide connection.
