We aren’t your typical Learning & Development consultants. Dare we say we hate the term altogether?
Here’s why: Our small but mighty team doesn’t do a one-and-done training class where the goal is to check off traditional L&D boxes and call it a day.
Every client’s business and training needs are unique and deserve a tailored approach. We also know powerful changes that lead to business results don’t happen overnight.
So we strive to be your L&D partners.
We strategically embed our team into our client’s organizations, so we know their business and learning goals like the back of our hands and use that information to create a partnership that yields long-lasting results like:
- A 10% reduction in turnover rates that resulted in thousands of dollars (not to mention time) saved.
- Decreased losses due to errors through a 25% increase in training efficiency.
Best of all, when you partner with us, you don’t just get one person, you get an entire team dedicated to building up your people for success.
We’d like to introduce the team you get when you partner with Building PPL (and with our shiny new website, you can get to know your strategic L&D partners even better!).
Meet your Building PPL team!
- Our fearless founder, Krysta Van Ranst, yields over a decade of experience creating transformative L&D initiatives for organizations, including saving a client $2.4M through training initiatives and securing $4M in grant funding for her clients. Outside of leading change-making learning directives, you can find Krysta wrestling her three boys, reading as many books as possible, or going to Broadway shows with her husband.
- As the Director of Program Development, Olesia Adams is the gal who’ll help your team find their “aha!” learning moment. She’s a master at weaving concepts and ideas to create L&D programs that power employees’ professional lives with critical knowledge, optimize processes, and connect programs with business bottom-line goals. On a typical Sunday morning, you can find Olesia going to church and baking with her little chefs, husband, and dog, Lucy.
- Sabrina Ruggles melds her passion for people and psychology as our Operations Manager. Working on the day-to-day operational activities, Sabrina ensures our team’s proactive communication and completion of projects, maintains a beat on system and process improvement, and fosters strong client relationships. When she’s not deep in collaboration sessions, you can find Sabrina spending time with her three teens, snuggling her cat, and watching Netflix with her partner.
- Blending internal expertise with external insight (and wildly contagious positive energy), our Director of Leadership Development, Bradford Selby, is our in-house L&D facilitator. His day-to-day work includes upskilling teams’ personal and professional skills and culture through energized training sessions. You’ll find Bradford saying “Yes, and” during improv practice, going for a run, or eating pizza whenever and wherever possible.
- As the Director of Grant Management, Paige Garland helps secure grant funding for organizations that contribute to the overall happiness and success of its people. Digging deep to understand her grant clients’ business and training needs, Paige finds best-fit learning grant opportunities. When she’s not helping clients secure grant funding, Paige enjoys brushing up on her tennis skills, reading sci-fi novels, and spending time with her three boys and partner.
Because our team is driven by creating change in our client’s organizations, we love partnering with organizations looking to embed L&D into their culture, apply and receive grant training funding, and power their workforce to move your business forward.
